Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and efficient Taxi Fleet Sanitizer to join our team for evening shifts. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring our fleet of taxis is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, ready for our drivers and passengers each day. Your meticulous attention to detail and ability to work quickly and effectively will be essential in maintaining our high standards of hygiene and public safety, especially with quick turnaround times.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of taxi interiors, including seats, floors, dashboards, and high-touch surfaces.
- Clean and wash taxi exteriors to maintain a professional appearance.
- Utilize approved cleaning products and techniques to ensure effective disinfection.
- Adhere strictly to company hygiene protocols and safety guidelines.
- Ensure vehicles are cleaned and ready for service within specified quick turnaround times.
- Monitor and report any vehicle maintenance issues or damage observed during cleaning.
- Manage cleaning supply inventory and report needs to management.
- Work independently and efficiently during evening shifts.
Required Skills
- Ability to reliably work evening shifts, typically starting in the late afternoon or early evening.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift cleaning supplies as needed throughout the shift.
- Basic understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning, sanitation, or a similar physically demanding role.
- A valid driver's license (Class 5 or equivalent) to move vehicles within the lot, if required.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning.
