Job Description
Are you passionate about board games and eager to dive into the world of game development? Everleaf Innovations is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Tabletop Board Game Development Intern to join our creative team in Binghamton. This is an unparalleled opportunity for individuals with little to no prior professional experience to gain hands-on training and contribute to the creation of exciting new tabletop games. You will work closely with experienced designers, learning the full lifecycle of game development from concept to playtesting and refinement. Full training and mentorship will be provided, focusing on design principles, prototyping, balancing, and player engagement. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead designers in brainstorming and developing new game concepts and mechanics.
- Create prototypes using various materials (digital or physical) for new game ideas and expansions.
- Participate actively in playtesting sessions, collecting feedback, and documenting observations.
- Contribute to the iteration and refinement of game rules, components, and overall player experience.
- Research existing tabletop games and market trends to inform design decisions.
- Support the team with administrative tasks related to game development as needed.
- Learn and apply core principles of game balance, narrative design, and user experience.
Required Skills

- Familiarity with digital prototyping tools (e.g., Tabletop Simulator, Figma, basic graphic design software).
- A portfolio (even personal projects) showcasing creative work or design thinking.
