Job Description
Are you looking for an easy, rewarding summer job where no prior experience is needed? Marriott International is seeking reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Swimming Pool Water Tester / Monitor in Providence, Rhode Island. This is a perfect opportunity for students, retirees, or anyone seeking flexible summer work. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of our hotel swimming pools by performing routine water quality tests and monitoring conditions. Full training will be provided to successful candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect water samples from designated swimming pools according to established schedules.
- Perform basic chemical tests on water samples, including pH, chlorine, and alkalinity levels.
- Accurately record and document all test results and observations in provided logs or systems.
- Report any abnormal test results or potential safety concerns immediately to a supervisor.
- Ensure all testing equipment is properly cleaned, calibrated, and maintained.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines related to pool operations and chemical handling.
- Conduct visual inspections of pool areas for cleanliness and general upkeep.
- Assist with minor adjustments to chemical levels as directed by certified pool operators, after appropriate training.
