Job Description
Linfox is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Supply Chain Intern to join our dynamic team in Maroochydore. This internship offers an unparalleled opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a large-scale distribution environment, learning the intricacies of modern logistics and supply chain management. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data analysis and reporting to support supply chain operations.
- Contribute to inventory management processes, including stock reconciliation and order fulfillment support.
- Shadow team members across various departments, including warehousing, transport, and planning.
- Support the implementation of process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for optimizing distribution flows.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to supply chain documentation and record-keeping.
- Learn and apply best practices in safety and compliance within a large-scale logistics setting.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic theoretical understanding of supply chain principles or logistics concepts.
- Experience with data entry or database management software (e.g., ERP systems).
- Availability to commit to a minimum of 3-6 months for the internship.
- A valid Australian driver's license.
