Job Description
Join UGL Limited as a Solar Farm Labourer, contributing to significant renewable energy projects across regional Western Australia. This role offers excellent pay for dedicated individuals willing to travel and work on-site at various solar farm construction sites. No prior solar farm experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of solar panels, racking, and support structures.
- Perform general labouring duties including trenching, cable pulling, and site clean-up.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper storage and handling.
- Follow all safety protocols and site procedures diligently.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Participate in daily safety briefings and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Maintain a high standard of work quality and attention to detail.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform manual labour in outdoor conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Valid Australian Driver's License (preferred for regional travel).
Preferred Qualifications
- Construction Induction Card (White Card) – mandatory upon commencement.
- Previous experience in a construction or outdoor labouring role.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience operating basic plant machinery (e.g., forklift, EWP) with relevant tickets.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home for extended periods.
