Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Smallgoods Packer to join our team in Carnarvon. This full-time role involves working in a chilled environment to efficiently pack and prepare a variety of smallgoods for distribution. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided to the successful candidate. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet our high-quality standards and are ready for timely delivery. This position offers competitive hourly rates with additional penalty rates for specific shifts or conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pack smallgoods and meat products into appropriate packaging.
- Inspect products for quality and ensure they meet company standards.
- Label packages correctly and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area within the chilled environment.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Operate basic packing machinery safely after training.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as required.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets.
