Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Silo Operator Assistants for the upcoming regional seasonal work period in Swan Hill, Victoria. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the agricultural industry, working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic environment. You will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our grain receival and outloading facilities, contributing to the successful harvest season.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the receival, storage, and outloading of grain products.
- Operate grain handling equipment under supervision, including augers, conveyors, and front-end loaders (training provided).
- Perform general site maintenance and housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
- Conduct basic quality control checks on incoming and outgoing grain.
- Monitor grain levels in silos and bunkers.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
- Complete necessary paperwork and record-keeping accurately.

- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and working in outdoor conditions.

- Forklift license (LF) or Front-End Loader license (FEL) is advantageous.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
