Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and efficient Shoebox Assembler to join our footwear distribution center team in Brantford. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the precise and rapid assembly of cardboard shoeboxes, ensuring they meet quality standards and are ready for packaging. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented, have good manual dexterity, and are looking for a stable full-time opportunity within a leading global logistics company. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble various sizes of cardboard shoeboxes accurately and efficiently according to specifications.
- Inspect assembled boxes for defects, ensuring structural integrity and proper formation.
- Organize and stack completed boxes onto pallets or into designated storage areas.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed to support operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly throughout a shift.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
