Key Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas on foot or by vehicle to deter and detect unauthorized activity.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems.
- Respond to emergencies and alarms, following established procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees.
- Write accurate and detailed incident reports.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Control access to premises, ensuring only authorized personnel enter.
Required Skills
- No prior security experience required; full training provided.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Eligible to work in Canada.
- Ability to obtain a provincial security licence (we pay for this!).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
