Job Description
Are you looking to kickstart a career in security but don’t have the experience or the necessary license? Allied Universal has an incredible opportunity for you! We are actively seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Security Guard. We believe in investing in our team, which is why we will cover the cost of your security guard license and provide comprehensive, paid training. This is a fantastic entry-level position for motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within the security industry. No prior experience is required – just a willingness to protect, serve, and learn!
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
- Respond to emergencies and provide assistance to employees and visitors.
- Write reports on daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Enforce company rules, regulations, and policies to ensure a safe environment.
- Control access points, permitting entry only to authorized personnel.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities or individuals.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent observation and communication skills.
- Strong ethical conduct and integrity.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification (training can be provided).
- Previous customer service experience.
