Job Description
Join our friendly team at Subway as a Part-time Sandwich Maker, working convenient day shifts from Monday to Friday at our bustling Cairns location. We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with fresh food and providing excellent customer service. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to ensure you’re confident in preparing our delicious menu items and creating a great experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh, high-quality sandwiches, salads, and wraps according to Subway's precise recipes and customer specifications.
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, handling cash and card transactions efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organised work environment, including food preparation areas, dining space, and equipment.
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed, ensuring freshness, proper rotation, and availability.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and welcoming service to all customers, taking orders and answering questions.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and sanitation guidelines and company policies.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as required.
