Job Description
We are actively seeking dedicated and reliable Rural General Labourers to join our team in Port Pirie. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general manual labouring duties across agricultural, industrial, and maintenance sites.
- Assist skilled tradespersons and operators with various tasks as required.
- Site preparation and cleanup, including debris removal and waste management.
- Load and unload materials, supplies, and equipment safely.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Assist with fencing, irrigation, and other farm-related tasks.
- Adhere strictly to all workplace health and safety procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks, lift and carry objects.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety principles.
- Reliable transport to and from work sites.
- Excellent punctuality and attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a rural, farm, or industrial setting (highly regarded but not essential).
- Current C-class Driver's License.
- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Basic First Aid certification.
