Job Description

We are seeking motivated and physically fit individuals to join our team as a Rural Fencing Labourer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is keen to learn, and isn’t afraid of physical work. As a key member of our fencing crew, you will assist in the construction and repair of various types of rural fences across properties in and around the Penrith region. Full training will be provided to ensure you gain the skills needed to succeed in this vital role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of fencing sites, including clearing vegetation and digging post holes.
  • Help with the safe loading, unloading, and transportation of fencing materials and equipment.
  • Install and repair various types of rural fencing, including wire, timber, and specialty fences.
  • Operate hand and power tools under supervision, ensuring safe practices at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organised worksite and ensure equipment is properly cared for.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current Australian C-Class Driver's License (manual vehicle experience preferred).
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card).
  • Previous experience working with hand tools or in an outdoor labour role is a bonus, but not essential.
  • Experience operating quad bikes or small machinery (desirable).
