Job Description
Join our dynamic team at Boral as a Roof Tile Packer in Campbellfield! This is a full-time position offering regular shifts and weekly pay, perfect for individuals seeking stable employment in a supportive manufacturing environment. As a Roof Tile Packer, you will be responsible for ensuring our high-quality roof tiles are correctly and safely packed for dispatch. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pack roof tiles according to product specifications and quality standards.
- Inspect tiles for any defects, damage, or inconsistencies before packing.
- Stack and secure packed tiles onto pallets, ensuring stability for transport.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment as required (training provided).
- Assist with general warehouse duties and maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 20kg) safely and consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
- Good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
- Current forklift license (LF class).
- Experience with manual handling and palletising.
- First Aid certification.
