Job Description

Join GAP Group as a Rigging Assistant and embark on an exciting career in industrial and construction services. This entry-level position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to learn the fundamentals of rigging, lifting operations, and equipment handling. You will work alongside experienced professionals, assisting with the safe setup, operation, and dismantling of various rigging systems for diverse projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior riggers and supervisors in preparing, setting up, and dismantling rigging equipment.
  • Learn and adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and industry best practices for lifting operations.
  • Inspect rigging equipment for defects and report any issues promptly.
  • Handle and store tools, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently.
  • Support the team in positioning and securing loads.
  • Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support project needs.
