Job Description
Are you looking for a dynamic seasonal role where you can contribute to a bustling retail environment? Target in Portsmouth is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Retail Stock Assistants to join our team for the upcoming peak season. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming merchandise shipments efficiently.
- Stock shelves, racks, and displays with products according to store planograms.
- Ensure accurate placement and pricing of merchandise.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe backroom and sales floor.
- Assist with inventory counts and management as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Support the sales team by ensuring products are readily available for guests.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse setting is a plus, but not required.
