Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized, resilient, and detail-oriented Repossession Agency Dispatcher to join our fast-paced team for night shifts. This critical role involves managing communications, coordinating field agents, and ensuring the smooth execution of repossession assignments during overnight hours. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-pressure environment, possesses excellent problem-solving skills, and can maintain composure while multi-tasking. You will be the central hub of our night operations, responsible for real-time decision-making and precise coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize incoming repossession assignments via phone, email, and proprietary software.
- Dispatch field agents efficiently to target locations, optimizing routes and response times.
- Maintain constant communication with field agents, providing support, updates, and instructions.
- Accurately document all activities, communications, and outcomes in the dispatch log and database.
- Monitor agent progress and safety, ensuring adherence to company protocols and legal guidelines.
- Handle unexpected situations or emergencies with quick and effective problem-solving.
- Generate end-of-shift reports detailing all completed and pending assignments.
- Collaborate with other dispatchers and management to ensure seamless operational flow.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using computer software, including dispatch systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Sound decision-making skills under pressure.
- Basic geographical knowledge of Rhode Island and surrounding areas.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dispatch, logistics, or emergency services role (e.g., security, towing, ambulance).
- Familiarity with repossession laws and regulations (training provided).
- Experience with GPS tracking and mapping software.
