Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and calm Repossession Agency Dispatcher to join our team for fast-paced night shifts. In this critical role, you will be the central hub of our night operations, coordinating with field agents, monitoring activities, and ensuring timely communication. This position requires exceptional multi-tasking abilities, a keen eye for detail, and the capacity to remain composed under pressure. You will manage incoming information, dispatch agents efficiently, and maintain accurate records, all while adhering to strict legal and company protocols. This is a vital position requiring reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and respond to electronic communications from field agents, clients, and law enforcement.
- Prioritize and dispatch field agents to various locations for asset recovery assignments.
- Monitor the status and location of field agents using GPS tracking systems.
- Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all dispatch activities, asset information, and agent communications.
- Provide support and information to field agents, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding status updates and resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, provincial regulations, and privacy laws.
- Prepare and submit shift reports detailing key events and activities.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a dispatch or similar coordination role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong geographical knowledge of St. John's and surrounding areas.
- Proficiency in using dispatch software, GPS systems, and standard office applications.
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- High level of discretion and integrity, especially with sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the asset recovery, security, or transportation industry.
- Familiarity with relevant provincial laws regarding repossessions.
- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., logistics, criminal justice).
- First Aid and CPR certification.
