Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Quantitative Analyst (Quant) to join our dynamic team in Glendale, CA. This role is crucial for developing, implementing, and validating complex quantitative models used for pricing, risk management, and strategic decision-making across various financial products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in quantitative finance, mathematics, statistics, or a related field, coupled with expertise in programming and data analysis. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quantitative models for pricing, valuation, risk management, and portfolio optimization.
  • Perform extensive data analysis and statistical modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in financial markets.
  • Collaborate with trading, risk management, and technology teams to integrate models into production systems.
  • Validate existing models, identify limitations, and propose enhancements to improve accuracy and robustness.
  • Conduct quantitative research on new methodologies and financial products to support strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation of models, methodologies, and validation results.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, C++ or Java.
  • Strong understanding of financial derivatives, quantitative finance, and risk management principles.
  • Expertise in statistical modeling, time series analysis, and econometric techniques.
  • Experience with large datasets and database management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related highly quantitative field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Financial Engineering).
  • Prior experience in financial services, hedge funds, or investment banking.
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their application in finance.
  • Familiarity with financial market data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv).
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
