Job Description
We are seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Public Treasury Vault Assistant. This is an entry-level, full-time, on-site position designed for individuals with no prior experience in banking or vault operations. We provide comprehensive training to ensure you are fully equipped to handle the responsibilities of this high-security role. You will play a crucial part in the secure processing and storage of valuable assets, maintaining strict adherence to established protocols and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the precise sorting, counting, and verification of currency, coin, and other valuable assets within the vault.
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment used for counting and verifying assets.
- Accurately record and document all vault transactions and activities.
- Adhere strictly to all security policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets.
- Participate in regular vault audits and inventory checks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and secure vault operations.
- Report any discrepancies or security concerns immediately to a supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment within the vault.
Required Skills

- Basic mathematical aptitude.

- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.

- Previous experience in a role requiring strict adherence to protocols or security (e.g., retail cash handling, inventory management).
- Familiarity with basic computer operations and data entry.
