Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in all required training programs for safe ferry operations, including emergency procedures and maritime regulations.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Handle mooring lines, securing the vessel to docks and ensuring proper tension during docking and undocking procedures.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks on the ferry and at the terminal to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Monitor vessel conditions and report any observed deficiencies or hazards to the senior crew.
  • Learn and practice emergency response procedures, including fire fighting, man overboard, and first aid.
  • Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and the public.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and maritime regulations at all times.
