Job Description
Peakstone Capital Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Equity & Venture Capital Intern with a keen interest in deal sourcing. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of private equity and venture capital. The intern will play a crucial role in supporting our investment team by identifying potential investment opportunities, conducting initial due diligence, and contributing to market research. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify attractive industries and emerging trends.
- Proactively source and screen potential investment opportunities through various channels, including industry events, databases, and professional networks.
- Assist in the initial evaluation of target companies, including financial analysis and business model assessment.
- Prepare introductory materials, summaries, and presentations for potential deals.
- Support the investment team with ad-hoc research projects and administrative tasks as needed.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our deal pipeline tracking system.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Demonstrated interest in private equity, venture capital, corporate finance, or entrepreneurship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

- Prior experience with financial modeling or valuation (academic projects count).
- Familiarity with financial databases (e.g., Pitchbook, CapIQ, Bloomberg).
