Job Description
Kmart Australia is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals for a Pop-up Shop Assistant role in Murray Bridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for short-term casual work, perfect for those looking to gain retail experience or supplement their income. You will be instrumental in the successful operation of our temporary retail space, providing excellent customer service, assisting with product displays, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary – just a great attitude and a willingness to learn!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and pack-down of the pop-up shop, including merchandise display and signage.
- Greet and welcome customers, providing outstanding customer service and product assistance.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing shop environment at all times.
- Replenish stock on shelves and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move moderate weights (up to 10kg).

- Availability for flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required by the pop-up schedule.
