Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and physically fit Piling Labourers to join our heavy infrastructure project team in Swan Hill. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to significant regional development, working on crucial piling activities that form the foundation of major structures. If you are reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to put in hard work for top pay, we want to hear from you. Full training on specific piling techniques and equipment will be provided to ensure you can excel in this challenging yet rewarding role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Piling Rig Operators and other team members in all aspects of piling operations.
- Perform manual labour tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and clearing debris.
- Handle and move materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure the worksite is kept clean, organised, and free from hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety procedures and protocols.
- Support the setup and dismantling of piling equipment and formwork.
- Participate in site inductions and ongoing safety training.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding work progress and safety concerns.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to perform demanding manual labour.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of construction site environments.
- White Card (Construction Induction Card) essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working on construction or infrastructure sites.
- Familiarity with various hand and power tools.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience operating basic plant machinery (e.g., forklift, skid steer) will be highly regarded.
