Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-time Site Hand to join our construction team in Traralgon for day shifts. This role is ideal for individuals looking for consistent part-time work within the construction industry. As a Site Hand, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring the smooth progression of projects, and maintaining a safe working environment. Full training on specific tools and safety protocols will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist tradespeople with tasks such as carrying materials, site clean-up, and preparing work areas.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organised construction site, including waste removal and sweeping.
- Load and unload construction materials and equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support the team in various general labor duties as required to keep projects on schedule.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety principles.
- Ability to work day shifts as scheduled.

Preferred Qualifications
- Current 'White Card' (Construction Induction Card) – essential for working on Australian construction sites.
- Previous experience in a physical labour role or construction environment is an advantage but not essential.
- Valid Australian Driver's License and reliable transport.
- Basic first aid certification.
