Job Description
Join Oracle as an Oracle Database Intern – Cloud Infrastructure and gain invaluable hands-on experience with cutting-edge cloud database technologies. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in the daily operations and maintenance of Oracle databases deployed on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Learn and apply best practices for database monitoring, performance tuning, and backup/recovery processes.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of documentation for database configurations and procedures.
- Participate in testing and validating new features and updates for OCI database services.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues and support internal projects.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest Oracle database and cloud technologies.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Basic understanding of database concepts and SQL.
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Exposure to cloud computing concepts (e.g., through coursework, personal projects).
- Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Shell scripting).
- GPA of 3.0 or higher.
