Job Description
Are you a friendly, enthusiastic individual who loves to connect with people online? AT&T is looking for a dedicated Online Community Greeter to join our team! This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone passionate about fostering positive online environments. As a Greeter, you will be the first point of contact for new members joining our various online forums and Discord channels, ensuring they feel welcomed, informed, and integrated into our community. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training for all new hires. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome new members across AT&T's official online forums and Discord servers.
- Provide initial guidance to new users on community guidelines, features, and how to get started.
- Answer basic questions from new members or direct them to appropriate resources/existing community members for further assistance.
- Engage with new users to encourage participation and a sense of belonging.
- Monitor new member activity to ensure a positive and respectful introduction to the community.
- Report any potential issues or violations to community moderators as needed.
Required Skills
- Exceptional written communication skills and a friendly, positive demeanor.
- Ability to empathize with new users and make them feel comfortable.
- Basic familiarity with online forums, chat applications (like Discord), and social media platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- No prior experience required; full training will be provided.

- Experience as an active participant in online communities or forums.
- A passion for technology or telecommunications.
