Job Description
Join the Sodexo team as a Music Festival Campsite Cleaner for post-event labor! This temporary role is crucial for ensuring the swift and efficient cleanup of festival grounds and campsites after a major music event in Bend, OR. You will be responsible for collecting and sorting waste, dismantling temporary structures, and ensuring the site is returned to its pristine condition. This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and a strong commitment to teamwork and safety. Full training will be provided, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for temporary work and contributing to event sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Systematically collect and remove all trash, litter, and debris from designated campsite areas and festival grounds.
- Sort waste into appropriate recycling and landfill bins according to established guidelines.
- Assist with the dismantling and removal of temporary camping structures, signage, and other event installations.
- Operate basic cleaning equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., trash compactors, trolleys).
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental protocols.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure all cleanup tasks are completed within deadlines.
- Report any hazards or issues encountered on site to a supervisor immediately.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (sun, rain, dust).
