Job Description
We are seeking reliable and motivated Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers to join our growing team in Charlottetown, PE. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for a consistent, full-time role with the convenience of a company van provided for all routes. As a key part of our logistics network, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to customers across designated routes, ensuring every delivery is a positive experience. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and capable in your role.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a company-provided delivery van to transport packages.
- Perform multi-drop deliveries and collections on a scheduled route.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages to customers.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain high standards of customer service during all interactions.
- Use handheld technology for route navigation, scanning packages, and managing delivery manifests.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety guidelines.
- Manage delivery disputes and customer inquiries professionally.
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle, ensuring secure transport.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or driving role is an asset.
- Familiarity with the Charlottetown and greater PEI area.
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation and delivery applications.
