Job Description

Novotel Sydney Parramatta is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Steward. Key Responsibilities
- Washing and sterilising all crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
- Operating dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dishwashing area, storage rooms, and general kitchen areas.
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, as required.
- Removing kitchen waste and ensuring proper disposal and recycling.
- Storing clean equipment and supplies in designated areas.
- Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Supporting the culinary team with various tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Required Skills
- No prior experience required – full training will be provided.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks.
