Job Description
Join the Spotless Group team as an Industrial Laundry Sorter in Port Augusta. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position offering reliable work in a supportive industrial environment. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to our high-volume laundry operations. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and capable in your role. Your main responsibilities will involve the efficient sorting of soiled linen and textiles, ensuring they are prepared correctly for washing and processing. This role requires attention to detail, a good work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort incoming soiled linen, garments, and textiles according to type, color, and required wash cycles.
- Inspect items for foreign objects, damage, or specific care instructions before processing.
- Load and unload laundry carts and conveyors, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding workflow and potential issues.
- Operate basic laundry equipment as required, following training and safety protocols.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and stand for extended periods.
