Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Hydroponic Farm Harvester to join our growing team in Fort Collins. As a Harvester, you will play a crucial role in the final stage of our production cycle, ensuring that our hydroponically grown crops are carefully harvested, inspected, and prepared for distribution. This is an entry-level position; full training will be provided to ensure you are proficient in our harvesting techniques and clean room protocols. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform precise and gentle harvesting of various leafy greens and herbs according to established protocols.
  • Inspect harvested crops for quality, ensuring they meet company standards and noting any discrepancies.
  • Package harvested produce efficiently and accurately for transport.
  • Maintain an impeccably clean and organized harvesting area, adhering strictly to hygiene and sanitation guidelines.
  • Monitor plant health and report any anomalies to farm supervisors.
  • Assist with other farm operations as needed, including planting, transplanting, and general facility maintenance.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Physical stamina: ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
  • Comfortable working in a controlled, humid indoor environment.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in agriculture, horticulture, or a production environment is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or other food safety standards.
  • Interest in sustainable agriculture and hydroponic farming.
