Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our housekeeping team as a Housekeeper / Room Attendant. This is an immediate start position with weekly pay, perfect for those who take pride in maintaining immaculate spaces and contributing to a positive guest experience. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas according to established standards and procedures.
- Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms, ensuring all items are stocked and neatly arranged.
- Change linens and make beds, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or suspicious activities to supervision.
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and courteously.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping carts and equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 25 lbs), and push/pull carts throughout a shift.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service.
- Basic communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
