Job Description
Join our team at the Boca Raton Marriott at Boca Center as an Entry-Level Hotel Housekeeper! This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in hospitality without prior experience. You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and public areas, contributing directly to an excellent guest experience. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms, according to company standards and procedures.
- Replenish linens, towels, and guest amenities.
- Clean common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and public restrooms.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport soiled linens and trash to designated areas.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or missing items to a supervisor promptly.
- Respond courteously and efficiently to guest inquiries and requests.
- Maintain a neat, organized, and well-stocked supply cart and storage areas.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Required Skills
- No prior experience required – full training provided!
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and pushing carts throughout a shift.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures (training will be provided).
- Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus.
