Job Description
Join our dynamic team at Harvestland Foods as a Gourmet Meal Kit Assembly Line Associate. This is an immediate hire opportunity for dedicated individuals looking to contribute to the creation of high-quality food products in a fast-paced, chilled production environment. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. You will be responsible for accurately assembling various meal kits, ensuring they meet our strict quality and safety standards before being packaged for delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble meal kits according to precise recipes and specifications.
- Accurately measure and portion ingredients into designated containers.
- Operate basic assembly line equipment safely and efficiently after training.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station in a chilled environment.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines (HACCP, GMPs).
- Inspect components for quality and report any discrepancies.
- Package finished meal kits for shipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth production flow and meet daily targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a chilled environment (approximately 34-40°F / 1-4°C) for extended periods.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic communication skills.
- Commitment to food safety and hygiene.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in food production, manufacturing, or a similar assembly role (not required, but a plus).
- Familiarity with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) or HACCP principles.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
