Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Furniture Staining Wiper to join our factory team in Provo. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for applying and expertly wiping wood finishes to various furniture pieces, ensuring a consistent, high-quality appearance that meets our exacting standards. This position is ideal for individuals who are meticulous, have excellent hand-eye coordination, and are committed to producing beautiful, finished products. Full training will be provided to ensure you master the techniques required for this craft.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare furniture surfaces for staining by ensuring they are clean, smooth, and free of imperfections.
- Carefully apply wood stains to furniture pieces using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Wipe off excess stain evenly and consistently to achieve the desired color, depth, and finish.
- Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and adherence to design specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper storage and disposal of materials.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and quality objectives.
- Assist with other production tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a team-player attitude.
