Job Description
Join Toll Group as an Evening Shift Freight Handler in our Mount Isa depot. This is a dynamic and physically demanding role crucial to our daily operations, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of freight. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, and moving a variety of goods in a fast-paced warehouse setting. We are looking for reliable individuals with a strong work ethic who are ready to contribute to a critical part of the supply chain. Full training will be provided, but a ‘can-do’ attitude and a commitment to safety are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload freight from trucks and trailers.
- Sort and stage freight according to destination and delivery routes.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as required (training provided).
- Scan and document freight accurately using handheld devices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily operational targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items frequently.
- Strong physical stamina and endurance.
- Reliability and punctuality for evening shifts.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or physical labor role.
- Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks (current license a plus, but not essential).
