Job Description
Are you eager to launch your career in financial data and investment analytics? NAB is offering an exciting entry-level opportunity for a motivated Financial Data Junior. This role is perfect for individuals with no prior experience in finance but a strong passion for data, learning, and the financial markets. You will receive comprehensive training to develop your skills in data management, analysis, and reporting, supporting our investment analytics team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the collection, entry, and validation of financial data from various sources.
- Support the investment analytics team in preparing reports and presentations.
- Learn to identify data discrepancies and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Participate in training sessions to understand financial products, market data, and analytical tools.
- Contribute to the documentation of data processes and procedures.
- Perform ad-hoc data requests and support team projects as required.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning about financial markets and data.

Preferred Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification (or currently pursuing) in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Basic understanding of database concepts or data visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau) is a plus, but not essential.
- Prior exposure to academic projects involving data analysis.
