Job Description

The Executive Lead for the Dubbo Regional Professional Network is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the strategic direction, operational management, and overall success of the association. This individual will drive member engagement, advocate for the professional community, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services and programs. You will be instrumental in expanding our reach and impact, working closely with the Board of Directors, members, and external stakeholders. This is an on-site position based in Dubbo, NSW.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and strategic implementation of the association's goals.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability.
  • Lead membership growth and retention initiatives.
  • Represent the association to external stakeholders, including government, industry bodies, and media.
  • Plan and execute professional development programs, events, and networking opportunities.
  • Manage and mentor a small team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for the Board of Directors.
  • Drive policy advocacy efforts on behalf of the professional community.

Required Skills

  • Proven leadership and management experience in a professional or non-profit setting (minimum 5 years).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial management and budgeting abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic planning and execution capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience working with a Board of Directors.
  • Familiarity with the socio-economic landscape and professional networks in regional NSW.
  • Membership in relevant professional associations.
