Job Description

No prior experience is required – we provide full training to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in this crucial role. As an Excavator Spotter, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe operation of heavy machinery and the well-being of our crew on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a visual guide and communicator for excavator operators, directing machinery movements safely and efficiently.
- Maintain constant vigilance of the work area, identifying potential hazards and communicating them immediately.
- Ensure clear communication with operators using hand signals, two-way radio, and other designated methods.
- Monitor ground conditions and the proximity of personnel to operating machinery.
- Assist with site setup and pack-down procedures.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Participate actively in daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Report any incidents, hazards, or near-misses promptly.

Preferred Qualifications
- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Valid Australian Driver's License.
