Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our kitchen team as an Evening Kitchen Hand on casual night shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a professional kitchen environment or for those who thrive in a fast-paced, evening work schedule. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with basic food preparation, and supporting our culinary team during busy service periods. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform dishwashing duties efficiently, ensuring all dishes, cutlery, pots, and kitchen equipment are clean and properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing workstations and equipment.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables as directed by chefs.
- Support the culinary team with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of stock.
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
