Job Description
Are you an energetic, engaging individual with a passion for entertainment and customer service? Bluff City Escapes is seeking a Part-Time Escape Room Game Master to join our dynamic team, primarily for weekend shifts. As a Game Master, you will be the heart of our operations, responsible for guiding our guests through an exciting journey, ensuring their safety, and enhancing their overall experience. This role is perfect for someone who loves interacting with people, has excellent problem-solving skills, and can maintain enthusiasm throughout the day. Full training will be provided, so prior escape room experience is not required – just a fantastic attitude and a willingness to learn!
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon arrival, setting an exciting tone for their experience.
- Clearly explain game rules, objectives, and safety guidelines to groups of varying sizes and backgrounds.
- Monitor games in progress using cameras and audio, providing timely and appropriate clues to enhance player enjoyment.
- Manage game flow, ensuring groups stay on track and have a positive, challenging experience.
- Reset game rooms efficiently and accurately after each session, ensuring all props and puzzles are in their correct starting positions.
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and presentable facility.
- Handle customer inquiries and minor technical issues, escalating complex problems to management.
- Process bookings, take payments, and assist with merchandise sales as needed.
- Maintain a high level of enthusiasm and professionalism, ensuring every guest feels valued and entertained.
