Job Description
We are seeking talented and ambitious professionals in Engineering, Construction, and Architecture to join our dynamic team in Salmon Arm, BC. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.
- Contribute to architectural design development and review processes.
- Perform engineering calculations, analysis, and technical evaluations.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including engineers, architects, project managers, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Participate in site visits, inspections, and progress meetings.
- Utilize industry-standard software for design, modeling, and project management.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in engineering, construction, or architectural projects.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle, from design to construction.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and project management tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Problem-solving aptitude and keen attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or professional licensure (e.g., P.Eng., Architect, PMP).
- Experience with Canadian building codes and standards.
- Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Navisworks, ArchiCAD).
- Experience in sustainable design or green building practices (LEED AP).
- Demonstrated experience working on large-scale commercial or institutional projects.
