Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in comprehensive training programs covering emergency protocols, disaster response techniques, and agency procedures.
  • Assist with the coordination and distribution of relief supplies and resources during emergency events.
  • Support data entry and record-keeping for incident reports, resource tracking, and volunteer management.
  • Conduct basic administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the disaster response office.
  • Engage with community members, providing information and support as directed by senior staff.
  • Learn to operate communication equipment and support communication channels during emergencies.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of temporary shelters or command centers.
  • Participate in drills and exercises to practice emergency response plans.
