Job Description
Are you passionate about e-sports and eager to get hands-on experience in team management? Miramichi Gaming Alliance is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic E-Sports Team Management Intern to join our dynamic team. This entry-level internship offers a unique opportunity to learn the intricacies of managing professional e-sports teams, from daily operations and scheduling to player well-being and event logistics. You will work closely with our experienced team managers and coaches, gaining invaluable insight into the fast-paced world of competitive gaming. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for individuals with no prior professional experience but a strong desire to learn and contribute.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily management and coordination of e-sports teams.
- Support with player scheduling, practice sessions, and competition logistics.
- Help organize team meetings, reviews, and debriefs.
- Aid in maintaining team records, statistics, and performance data.
- Contribute to fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Research and analyze competitor strategies and industry trends.
- Support with administrative tasks related to team operations.
- Liaise with players to ensure their needs are met and address minor concerns.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for e-sports and competitive gaming.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Basic understanding of popular e-sports titles (e.g., League of Legends, Valorant, CS2, Dota 2).
- Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- No prior professional experience required; full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program (e.g., Sports Management, Business, Communications).
- Prior experience with community management or organizing gaming events.
- Familiarity with team communication platforms (e.g., Discord, Slack).
- Demonstrated leadership experience in academic or extracurricular settings.
