Job Description
Are you passionate about the intersection of education and technology? EduTech Innovators NZ is offering an exciting E-learning Design Intern position for individuals eager to dive into the world of instructional design and digital content creation. This placement is designed to provide hands-on experience in developing engaging and effective e-learning modules, collaborating with subject matter experts, and utilizing various authoring tools. You will contribute to projects that enhance learning experiences for thousands, gaining invaluable skills in a supportive and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of e-learning courses and modules.
- Support the instructional design team in storyboarding, scriptwriting, and content organization.
- Conduct research on best practices in e-learning and emerging educational technologies.
- Help create interactive elements, multimedia assets, and assessments.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure accuracy.
- Participate in quality assurance testing of e-learning materials.
Required Skills
- Strong interest in education, technology, and design.
- Basic understanding of instructional design principles or a keen willingness to learn.
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A portfolio (even if academic or personal projects) demonstrating design aptitude is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program (e.g., Education, Instructional Design, Multimedia Design, Communications, Information Technology).
- Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Rise 360) is a bonus but not required.
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
