Job Description
Are you a compassionate and empathetic individual looking to start a rewarding career in healthcare? BrightStar Care of Coral Springs is seeking dedicated Domiciliary Care Workers with no prior experience required! We offer comprehensive paid training to equip you with all the skills needed to provide exceptional care in clients’ homes. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, companionship, and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment.
- Prepare light meals, assist with feeding, and ensure proper nutrition.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed.
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to the care supervisor.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Travel between client homes, with paid travel time.
Required Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Strong work ethic and punctuality.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift and transfer clients safely (with training).
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience caring for a family member or friend.
- CPR and First Aid certification (training provided if needed).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
