Job Description
Are you physically fit, reliable, and looking for an entry-level opportunity to join a dynamic team? Harvey Norman Echuca is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver Offsider. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in an active environment and enjoy hands-on work. You will be an essential part of our delivery team, assisting the driver with the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of merchandise to our valued customers. No driver’s license is required for this position; your strength, positive attitude, and willingness to learn are your most important assets. Full training will be provided to ensure you excel in all aspects of the role, from safe lifting techniques to providing excellent customer service during deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload a variety of merchandise, including furniture and appliances, onto and off delivery vehicles.
- Assist the Delivery Driver with navigation, route planning, and adherence to delivery schedules.
- Ensure all items are handled with care, preventing damage during transit and delivery to customer premises.
- Provide friendly, professional, and courteous customer service during deliveries, confirming order accuracy with customers.
- Strictly follow all company safety procedures and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organised delivery vehicle and assist with general warehouse tidiness as required.
- Communicate effectively with the driver, customers, and store staff regarding delivery status or issues.
- Adhere to scheduled delivery times and report any delays, problems, or customer feedback to the relevant supervisor.

- Exceptional physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to safely lift and move heavy items regularly.

- Previous experience in a role requiring manual handling or physical labour (e.g., warehousing, removals).
- A valid First Aid certificate.
