Job Description
Join Qube Logistics as a Customs Inspection Unpacker and play a vital role in the efficient movement of goods through Fremantle Port. In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for carefully unpacking and repacking cargo for customs inspections, assisting customs agents with their examination processes. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Full training on customs procedures and safety protocols will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully unpack various types of cargo from containers and pallets as directed by Customs Agents.
- Assist Customs Agents by presenting goods for inspection in an organized manner.
- Repack cargo securely and efficiently after inspection, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) if certified, or assist with manual movement.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all company and port safety regulations.
- Report any discrepancies, damage, or safety hazards immediately to supervisors.
- Collaborate effectively with customs agents, supervisors, and team members.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or port environment.
- Forklift license (LF) or experience operating material handling equipment.

- Valid driver's license and own reliable transportation.
