Job Description

The Geraldton Regional Art Gallery is offering an exciting Creative Arts Student Placement opportunity with a strong focus on gallery operations and arts administration. This placement is designed for enthusiastic students eager to gain practical, hands-on experience within a vibrant cultural institution. You will work closely with our dedicated team, assisting with various aspects of exhibition preparation, public programs, collection management, and visitor engagement. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation and de-installation of exhibitions, including art handling and display preparation.

  • Aid in the cataloguing and documentation of the gallery's collection under supervision.
  • Contribute to visitor services, including greeting guests and providing information about current exhibitions.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks related to gallery operations and events.
  • Participate in promotional activities for exhibitions and gallery events.
